Kaynemaile™ Seamless Mesh KML 22 Kaynemaile is an award winning polycarbonate mesh, adapted from original chainmail, and is designed specifically for architectural and interior design applications. KML 22 is created using a unique and patented process where there are no links or joins, resulting in the elimination of weak points thus minimising point load issues.

KML 22 is custom manufactured for each project, and available in a range of both translucent and opaque colours. KML 22 is only 2.1 kg/m2, making it ideal for moveable screens, and reduces stress involved with large scale fit-outs. KML 22 achieves a flammability index of (FI)=6, certifying it for use in any public application, and rendering it ‘self-extinguishing’.

The range of meshes may also be accompanied by a channel track or clip-on fixing system. Other fixing methods can be custom designed with Locker Group to meet the specific requirements of your project.

Kaynemaile is the winner of a 2007 iF Materials Award, and has been nominated for the 2008 DesignPreis award of the Federal Republic of Germany.
